12th Clydebank Guides headed to Helensburgh for an action-packed overnight trip.

The girls set up camp at the town’s Guide Hall with their leaders Michelle Pearson, Ann Phelan, Linda Hood and May Main.

During their stay, the Guides enjoyed a scenic walk along the Helensburgh shorefront and visited the park. Back at the Guide Hall, they gathered to make s’mores, enjoyed baking and took part in a variety of craft activities.

Fresh air fun

May Main, leader of 12th Clydebank Guides, said: “The girls all loved walking along the front, and the weather stayed dry for us, thankfully.

“We did lots of crafts back at the Guide Hall and, although the wind made toasting the marshmallows a challenge, it was all part of the fun.

“The best part for the girls was settling in for the night for a big sleepover with their Guide friends.”
