This is Module 3 of the Girlguiding First Aid Course and it is only applicable to either Girlguiding or Scouting Volunteers

First response is an ideal introduction to first aid for all volunteers.  You need to complete 6 hours of taught training and one e-learning module.

Girlguiding requires you to complete the training within 3 months of starting the course.

Module 1 focuses on CPR and is always face to face.  Modules 2 and 3 are usually delivered by zoom to allow volunteers to choose dates which suit them.  We sometimes deliver full 6 hour courses but we have to deliver to fewer people face to face than on zoom so this restricts our capacity.

You can complete the First Response course if you are a volunteer who is aged 14 – 18.  You will need to have a permission form for each session you attend.  If you are aged 14 – 18 you also need to contact Girlguiding UK to access the Learning platform to complete the e-learning.
